Ten Tips For Savings A Little Bit Here And There

1. Arrange for an automatic $25 biweekly transfer
from your checking account to your savings account.
By year's end, you could have over $600 in savings.

2. Brew your own coffee at home instead of buying
gourmet coffee every day.

3. Put tax refunds, bonuses and raises into savings.
At least 10 to 20 per cent of it.

4. Or, use year-end bonuses and refunds to pay of
high-cost debt.

5. Rent movies instead of going to the theater.
Borrow books from the library instead of buying them.

6. Clip coupons, even if they are for stores you may
not frequent. You may be able to use them at another
store you like, since competitors will often honor
one another's coupons.

7. Shop with a list so you buy only what you really need.

8. Pack your lunch a few days a week instead of eating out.

9. Eat at home more than you go out. If you do not
have time to cook, build a meal around a main course
prepared at your grocer's deli. You just provide the sides.

10. Consolidate trips to save on gas.

You will be pleasantly surprise how much you will have
saved at the end of the year, by simply saving a little
bit here and there.
